[Aroon Stuff] Well I'll just bet that your 15 year old has one that says .. "I'm not Listening" as well. :) Been there. This Aroon is really pretty simple .. I'll give you a thumbnail sketch. There are 2 lines .. One Up and One Down .. When the Up Line is at the 100 or the Top the Trend is Strong .. When it comes off the Top .. that is a Top or the Trend has weakened .. it can be a Short Term Top .. or THE Top. Check other indicators. Reverse it for the Down Line .. When the Down Line Comes off the Top or 100 .. Look for a Bottom .. Check other indicators. Piece of Cake .. When they both move together in the same direction .. it indicates a Sideways move. Check other indicators. stockcharts.com If you look Closely .. you'll see what I mean.
