You're not mistaken, White's are black, or sorta. They are the best boots ever made. I bought my first pair in 1962, and I've only needed four pairs since, despite working in the woods for nearly 30 years. My last pair needed a little shoring up, so I took them into the factory a coupla months ago and they stitched all the seams and soles and polished them, at no charge. White boots are heavy and don't keep water out, but when they slip on to your feet they are as comfortable as slippers and you never get blisters. I would like to put a nice vibram bootprint on the guy who dreamed up this one: "fcuk advertising" - French Connection United Kingdom, 1990s.
