That's simply deliberately provocative language meant, in this political climate, to put a negative spin. I wasn't assigning you a negative label. I was naming the two competing economic systems and competing perspectives. You and I both know that we live in a mixed system and that "communal" and "welfare capitalism" are suitable labels for the US left along the continuum. If we call your side one of those names, then what do we call my side? It ain't capitalism any more than yours is socialism. I'll use "communal" going forward. Do you have any suggestions for the other half of that pair of notions? (Be nice, now. <g>)
