It was a very good movie John. The acting was really superb and the panoramic scenery was wonderful.

It was sort of a simple movie though, just about two people going through life, deeply in love with eachother but never being able to share their love in an open way.

I think I've seen worse movie's get a lot of nominations. I can't remember the name, but that stupid movie about a middle aged guy lusting after a teenage girl is one off the top of my head.

I agree, John, I thought it was incredibly tedious and slow moving, and would have gotten barely a mention if the underlying theme wasn't out of the ordinary. I sat through it because I thought my wife was enjoying it and I didn't want to spoil her pleasure. Turned out she was doing the same thing!
