Don't stand for a totalitarian US government. It's just plain wrong and un-American. As for liberal immigration, Bush hasn't done anything about that. In his State of the Union he said that Mexican immigrants keep our economy going. Bush stands with the bosses who hire cheap illegal labor. So if that's your issue, why the hell would you defend Bush?

Also, remember if Bush gets away with this any presdient in the future could abuse those powers in even worse ways, even someone whose politics are the opposite of yours. So this is an American issue, not a partisan one. Thre is simply no excuse for what Bush is doing.

Finally, Bush lied saying illegal wioretaps could have prevented 9-11. We did know about those 9-11 hijackers in the country, we just didn't do anything about it. Why? For several reasons, including the fact bBush was asleep at the wheel on terror, so badly that one suspects he let it happen intentionally. After all, who got more out of 9-11 than Bush and his cronies? They made a trillion dollars on that attack. Bush was warned on 8-6-01, remember.
