Jim, The USA is losing it's identity. What did you expect when my generation is called "Generation X"? We're the generation that supposedly has nothing to believe in, nothing to define us, and nowhere to go. You can thank the post-modernist crap, which defines itself as "There is no truth, except the truth that there is no truth." Then when the next generation has nothing to believe in, the generation that came up with post-modernism will just wash their hands clean and demand their Social Security checks. Some legacy. Wrong. All Americans should be outraged by Bushies illegal spying. I just listened to conservative Bob Barr on the radio blasting Bush for his trampling of civil liberties, the Constitution and blatant outright lies and abuses of power. No American should look at this casually, nor in a partisan sense. What Bush is doing is tantmount to treason at the highest level. And you can be damn sure he's not really spying on Al Qaida. He's spying on whomever he wants politically. Same thging Nixon did but a hundred times worse.
