if you continue to own it that means your capital is continually tied up in the company.

But at no additional contribution. A small return in infinite time is infinite. On a very real and practicle level it leads to the totally artificial separation of those who have that undiminishing principal and those who have contributed another way. Workers, over time, will always become aged and exhaused having nothing left to contribute. The capital input remains fresh as a daisy in perpetuity. That is an inevitably unequal outcome regardless of the level of contribution or reward.
