Speaking of flex fuel and taxes, I thought of an excellent idea that would most likely VASTLY increase the speed of adaption to flex fuel and improvements thereupon. How about this, Taxes actually make up a BIGGER percentage of the cost of fuel then the material and the profit. So, to encourage the adaptation of flex fuel how about a MORATORIUM of all state and local taxes on flex fuel for TEN YEARS? Not only would this encourage fast implementation BUT I bet the PROFITS made by corn or other crop growers would increase enough to have the income taxes on those crops offsett much of the lost revenue. jdn
