The real intent of that "rule" is to have a valid reason to boot someone if they're harassing someone by just posting prodigiously to them (or the thread), but the posts themselves, when taken individually, aren't harassing. Kind of a CYA thing for what's often a judgment call. Ah! Haven't seen that happen but a good idea in any case. "Got a hot tip? I rode FOSL this week and made out like a bandit. Made money on the stock, then made out like a bandit on the puts I'd bought to hedge the stock. :-)" I'm the last guy you'd want to ask. After putting on about 80% worth of gains since just before Christmas, I've managed to lose around 50% in barely 2 weeks. That'll teach me to invest in things I shouldn't turn my back on, then ignore them for days on end. Need a new advisor? :-) Let's see. 1 --> 1.8 the 1.8 --> 0.9 See if the NYSE will comp you. :-) That'll teach me to invest in things I shouldn't turn my back on, then ignore them for days on end.
