Quite a trip down memory lane today.

Heh.

I think I've posted this before (for some reason I couldn't post under my old name and had to create a new account), but my father-in-law was able to retire on what he made on ANCR/QLGC alone. He discovered ANCR not long before it went way down to ~$1.00, loaded up big, and sold out near the top, and then retired. Prior to ANCR, he literally had no retirement savings. It was a once in a lifetime kind of situation.

My favorite investing day of all time was the day the fake press release came out on EMLX and all the storage stocks dropped like rocks. I just happened to be looking at my computer screen as it was happening. For some reason instinct kicked in and I bought a ton of QLGC without knowing what was happening as QLGC dropped from around $120 to below $50 in no time flat, then started climbing upwards when the story became known. What fun! Those were the days. Even as a complete amateur, you used to be able to trade QLGC and make money like shooting fish in a barrel.

BTW, whatever happened to Kerry Lee? He just dropped off the face of the earth.
