She no doubt knew the most expensive.
At least it was like 50% higher than Blue Mountain.

When I went to college I excelled in knowing a lot about different teas, how small China boys used to spray tar on Lapsang Souchong etc.
Knowing a lot about something always commands respect.
At least where most peers know very little about anything.

Tea was an easy pick (!) and I always liked tea anyway.

When I used to get Blue Mountain in Jamaica 20-30 years ago it was Nirvana... so very rich without a hint of acid taste. I would bring home the limit of 2 lbs... maybe it wasn't the same or maybe it didn't travel well, but I've never had coffee like the Blue Mountain served on my terrace overlooking Negril Beach.
