Seeker - Holding is reasonable as long a you know there will likely be a dip. That way you can avoid having to sell near the bottom.

Also, the value of these energy trusts is now widely known, and the price dip may be limited by smart value investors.

For oily trusts, I have not finished my Due Diligence. BPT is well known, and has a royalty stream from Alaskan oil.
I have not completed research on BPT.

Vermillion could work out well.
