I agree. But I was talking about the initial rolling over of the country. In the case of Iraq, US troops were in Baghdad within 48 hours or so. That really shocked some of the anti-war folks who were expecting the "dreaded" Republican Guards to put up a stiff resistance and inflict heavy casualties on the US.

I think Iran will fold up similarly (though in this case, getting to Tehran is not the objective - it is the oil-rich Khuzestan province that is the coveted prize). Unlike Iraq, the Iranians might be able to launch a few missiles and their fighter aircraft would probably at least take off and put up some fight. But overall, it will be a lot closer to the Iraqi type of rollover than what many anti-war folks here expect.
