re: Now explain to us what "50% underemployment" is.

You are probably too young and self absorbed to understand.

Underemployment means no full-time secure wages with benefits. What tens of millions of Americans are experiencing more and more these days, from the Walmart jobs to the out-sourcing and consulting jobs. We all have examples in our families. Small town American is particularly hard hit. The old local plants are all leaving. And so are the mom and op stores. What's left is Walmart, the Army or un/underemployment. Very few good secure jobs left for the workingclass in the US and it's gotten much worse under Bush-Cheney.

It's what industry wants and what hurts American families. Bush-Cheney are squarely in the industry camp. Which is why they both encourage outsourcing of US jobs and encourage hiring of cheap Mexican illegal aliens. Bush-Cheney and their cronies do whatever benefits industry the most, even if it clobbers average Americans.
