Bush has been seriously weakened in the world arena after his Iraq fiasco and his inability to nab Osama and Zawahiri. The world now considers him a paper tiger. Hence. his arm twisting of India wouldn't go far. I am awaiting the result of Bush's trip to India next month. He is considered to be popular there considering the influx of US companies into India. Kerry was rebuffed by the Indian Govt. during his Jan 2006 visit because of his "pro American" stance during his presidential campaign.

Bush to me is the President of Iraq not the President of the US. He is the benefactor of India and not a benefactor of the US.
