"You give me a medical or science reason why I will need lots of gold in my future and I will become bullish" That has nothing to do with the original question "is gold a good investment". I have been in gold and miners since 2000 and the charts clearly show it has been a good investment. You believe the top is in and I think we have a long way to go. As far as topics such as personal values, how to make society a better place, etc.....this is a stock chat board. I'm not here for validation or therapy and I have no plans change the world by typing reams of pages on a internet board. I have found SI to be a good place to pick up a few investment ideas or to see which way the boat is leaning WRT to the investments I hold. Therefore I am 100% serious when I say please post if you ever get bullish on the metals Back to lurk mode
