imo it was a bone thrown to the public. Addiction to oil.. nice words of regard. more money for farmers, archer daniels, etc, more gov. funding, in the end maybe he was hoping for voters to remember in Nov elections. otherwise i think his plan is a dream , at least within the time frame established. Oil is more than fuel to drive auto. how about lubrication, asphalt, waxes, jet fuel, heating oil, solvents for cleaning, degreasing, etc etc etc. I laughed when the words came out of his mouth. It was a pure play on politics.
