As if the US invading Iraq wasn't bad enough. At least that was restricted to one country with an extremely unpopular leader.

darn, at least before now, you could blame it all on Bush huh?

"Islamic anger over newspaper depictions of the Prophet Mohammed is boiling over into violence around the world, with protesters targeting the embassies of countries where the cartoons were published."

Do doubt torching embassies will be the new sport. There is a lot of anger on both sides of this thing that has yet to be vented. A large number of Europeans, probably a large majority, are annoyed with Muslims over a variety of issues. I strongly suspect that annoyance is why those cartoons got drawn and then published so widely. The riots in France and now this doesn't really improve the situation from the European point of view. And when one or more Muslim nitwits decides to take the issue directly to European citizens...

I find the Muslim upset a bit hypocritical when we remember that it took their religious leaders quite some time to come out against beheadings and other outrageous Muslim acts.......while others of their religious leaders still condone such behavior. A cartoonish depiction of Mohammad IMO is not quite the crime that the execution of an innocent civilian is. I think the Muslims doth protest this issue a mite too much........maybe to distract from their extremist behavior.
