I think the most profound change in the nature of this thread was brought about by AA himself, when in a post one day, in the middle of discussing other things, inter alia, as it were, he mentioned that from that moment on the discussion will be no longer limited to indexes, but will also include individual issues.

Clearly, that had to have consequences. Indexes are more amenable for trading futures in wiggles. Including individual stocks led to re-focusing towards longer time frames - and, then, naturally, towards trading options.

That's where we are now, and have been for the past few years.

I came to this thread because I (kinda?) fell in love with waves, and this was the only place where there was an active group of people who spoke the same language.

Still remember "searching" SI for "Elliott". There were some mentions of "Elliot", but I disregarded those. I figured, if they can't spell Ralph's name, what can they possibly know about his waves.... ;)
