First....really important stuff....Can't watch remaining minutes of the game ...I have loads of sentimental ties to Seattle, going waaay back, so very sad for me...thought they had the game in the bag.......sigh........

Occurs to me that while I've been chewing over the substance of your SOTT, I have failed to record my compliments, Shack-o, on a job...and kinduva tough job... well done! A well-written think piece, covering all the bases, and showing....if I may say so.... streaks of real statesmanship.

Hope you won't mind, but have to say I was particularly taken with your last paragraph.....
<<Lastly, all these "rules" should not preclude some regular social banter, even during market hours. ........ No way I'm going to go without the wit that has kept the thread entertaining. Keep it fun, keep it light. >>
I am much addicted to that "light, fun" stuff.....but often often feel guilty and that I need to tone it down!! So glad to hear those views from you... (Sorry, though..... afraid you'll NEVER find ME sitting here in my underwear!!)..

Haven't got entirely clearly in mind how the new dispensation should affect the type of posts I usually spout during the course of a market day.....Will probably transgress a bit, so hope you will be understanding and lenient during an initial grace period. Glad to hear, Simon L., that you're not a "whip-cracker"!!
