I doubt we'd have any vessel anywhere near 57 miles from the Iranian navy if they blockade. One US Destroyer could sink the Iranian navy from 400 miles away

They don't need to put a single ship to sea. The Straits of Hormuz are only 21 miles wide, and dotted with islands controlled by Iran.

Iran natively produces its own version of the Silkworm, and I'm sure they have plenty to shut down the Straits. They have a very long coastline controlling entry to the Persian Gulf.
