You find the rights of man irrelevant. Interesting. No wonder you see no problem with suicide bombers.

I'm of southern Irish heritage. I consider the IRA to be a band of terrorists.

King Christian X of Denmark and non-Jewish Danes thwarted the order by donning the armbands themselves.
Nevertheless, he and his fellow Danes made it impossible for the Nazi death squads to achieve their objectives. Were they to throw the King into an oven?

A bit of history.

The Danish government sent Jews back to Germany prior to WWII.
The Danish government sent Iranian refugees back to Iran recently.

In both cases the government was lead by the right wing party called Venstre.

Then they need to have their @$$es kicked. Nevertheless, it doesnot justify your buckling to totalitarian threats NOW.

BTW, my searches fail to back your claims. Links?

Thanks for the clarification.

"Although the Danes did undertake heroic efforts to shelter their Jews and help them escape from the Nazis, there is no real-life example of the actions described by this legend. Danish citizens never wore the yellow badge, nor did King Christian ever threaten to don it himself. In fact, Danish Jews never wore the yellow badge either, nor did German officials ever issue an order requiring Danish Jews to display it."
