US, a military superpower who can "liberate" other nations of their resources or Euro, Yen, Pound or Yuan? Right - people think I am an idiot to keep preaching this point I guess about the guys with the BIG GUNS - the big land owners in Rome started moving out further and further away from Rome - to get away from the long arm of the law and the military that was sucking them dry of thier resources - FREE citizens WILLINGLY threw themselves into slavery under these large land owners just to escape the debt burden being put on them by the gubbment. At least a slave on a big plantation could EAT - you might starve to death a free citizen in Rome! And so my friend with 12 million in bonds has his farm stocked with animals and goats and such. Now if rome or bolshevik type stuff happen here - better to be a slave on his farm and eat than a free citizen and starve to death in the city - but the point I keep wanting answers too is TODAY - we have much more longer reach of the long arm of the law and gubbment than in roman or bolshevik times - MEGAFORCE type strike forces using unmanned remote controled bombing drones and tanks and ships and such - that will take only a few joystick happy arcade wonderboy wannabes to control massive amounts of STRIKE POWER and not require many humans doing hand to hand battle with thier brothers. Like orson scott card - ENDERS GAME So I dont understand my rich friends MEME - if the boys with guns come to LIBERATE his goats for the good of the masses - how is he gonna stop them? In roman times you just had to move far away from rome and that was good enough - but we live in a much SMALLER world today and I still dont have a rocketship to flee to mars like the founding fathers fled europe and started anew.
