Oh Shiit,

Mama does not get a new pair of shoes tonight.... Damn it's hard to be a Hawk or Coug fan.. It is so gawd damn tuff.. I think I will give up sports where I do not have any control over my wishes and wants.... I will stick to my own damn self where I can control my own damn destiny..

But moving on.. Mama will get new shoes, someday.. I will get over it.. I am getting a new shop.. There will be a wardrobe malfunction next weekend..:)

It's all good.

Madden needed more analysis

For a sports TV critic, the real suspense didn't occur until the end of Sunday's Super Bowl. Would Al Michaels provide any hints about his future as he signed off on ABC's final NFL telecast?

Michaels is signed to call "Monday Night Football" next year for ESPN. But he failed to curb speculation this week that he wants out of the contract so he can join John Madden on NBC's Sunday night coverage beginning next season.

Would Michaels deliver a fond farewell to his partner? Well, not exactly.

Michaels extended his hand to Madden and said, "Hall of Famer, the pleasure has been mine."

OK, that leaves a lot open to interpretation. Was Michaels talking about the game, the season or their four years together?

Obviously Michaels' situation needs to be resolved. As he said last week, "Next season starts Monday."

As for the telecast of Super Bowl XL, new Hall of Famer Madden didn't deliver a Hall of Fame performance. Madden typically doesn't delve deep into controversy, but more analysis was needed on several questionable calls that went against Seattle. Certainly, Seahawks fans were screaming.

Madden did pick up the pace in the second half. He correctly predicted that the Steelers would come up with a gadget play. Sure enough, they did, producing a fourth-quarter touchdown.

The star of the pregame show proved to be a surprise. Normally reticent New England coach Bill Belichick delivered some interesting analysis on several fronts. Belichick, though, isn't about to give up his day job, saying he wasn't going to go over to the "dark side" to join the media.

Chris Berman, well, was Chris Berman, which is a lot to handle over 3 hours. If you were a Bears fan, there was only one highlight: George Wendt reprising his "Super Fan" routine with Mike Ditka.
