I don't remember them asking us to remove Saddam. Sometimes its best to mind one's own business and not someone else's.

why are you blaming the US when the people protesting should be channeling their efforts into overthrowing their violent Muslim leaders?

Saddam was far worse than the Iranian president. We supported him for years. The leaders of Pakistan and Egypt are only slightly better than the Iranian president. Where is the logic? American foreign policy is illogical, irrational, and hypocritical until you understand American motivation........and then its simply hypocritical.
