These officials interjected themselves into the biggest game of the year and had a major effect on the outcome. If I were a Seattle fan, I'd be livid

That was indeed sad to watch, it seemed like every big play for the Seahawks had to be flagged. Seattle had a great game plan, and should have hopped on Pittsburgh big, right from the get go. But the officials changed the tone of the game...

Seattle then got flustered and played into their own defeat..

It did seem this one was predetermined.

Coug,

The 4 bad calls did influence the outcome, and that should never happen. Hard pill to swallow.

I agree, Both teams were formidable and deserved to be there but the officiating was obscene.

The Steelers may have won that game w/o the bad ref calls but their play calling strongly influenced the momentum and coaching strategy of both teams ie:
Holmgrens video recorded frustration regarding the bad TD call walking off at half time and IMHO Cowhers confidence to throw a Flea Flicker trick play knowing the refs wold give his team lots of leeway.

Good game, better than last years fer sure, congrats to both teams!
