This will be my last post on Sunday's Super Bowl...there are lots of comments out on the blogs and all over out on the Internet...In the last 24 hours this Seattle PI "Sound-Off" area generated well over 15,000 posts -- I just scanned a few of them and some of them are sorta crazy and full of emotion...Yet, here's one that caught my attention (I don't necessarily agree with everything in it but it's worth considering)...

<<...This was not a game -- it was a Coronation of Pittsburgh as Superbowl champs by the Powers that be at the NFL. (More money if Pittsburgh is champs)

This is The Only Post you need to read on the subject.

Let's start with the SECOND drive of the game. On 3rd down, Hasselback connects with Jackson for a first down on Pittsburgh 20 -- but wait, a holding penalty on the seahawks -- seahawks were forced to punt - there went one scoring opportunity for the hawks.

On the Seahawks THIRD Drive - Hasselback conencts with Darrel Jackson -- Touchdown - No wait - another penalty - we lose 7 points - settle for a field goal - score is 3-0 (Score could easily be 14-0 or 10- 0 now)

Seahawks 4th Drive - we return the punt 39 yards for a first down on the Pittsburgh 40 - but wait - ANOTHER PENALTY (Notice the trend here? -- Every BIG Play the penalty is called?) - Seahawks instead start on their 22 instead of Pittsburgh 40 - The seahawks probably would have added at least another 3 points on this drive.

Right before the half -- Pittsburgh is GIVEN A TOUCHDOWN by the officials - Enough Said!

Second half - Seahawks start a drive from their own 2 with the score 14 - 10 - Hasselback connects to stevens for first down on Pittsburgh 1 - But Wait!! - You Guessed it, ANOTHER BIG PLAY PENALTY called on the seahawks - What would have been a certain touchdown and 17-14 lead for Seattle instead turned into third and long and forced hasselback to throw a desperation pass that was interecepted. - IT was this penalty that LEFT NO DOUBT that the powers that be in the NFL had Pre-Ordained Pittsburgh to win this Game.

Matt Hasselback makes a tackle after the interception - But wait - ANOTHER PENALTY giving the steelers a gift first down at the Seahawks 45 and setting them up for their trick pass touchdown and that was the game.

Now what are the facts here:

Fact - EVERY SINGLE PENALTY called on the Seahawks happened on a BIG GAME CHANGING PLAY -- Not a SINGLE penalty was called on a short yard gain OR on an in-complete pass -- I cannot emphasize this point enough - Every single penealty that was called on the seahawks was on a BIG PLAY.

2. Pittsburgh - the most physical team in the NFL had only 3 penalties called - two were for false starts where actually the seahawks defensive lineman "Forced the officials to call a penalty" by initiating contact with the pittsburgh player after they moved. That Left only 1 Penalty called on Pittsburgh the ENTIRE GAME.

Going into this game the Seahawks were the second least penalized team in the NFL.

Finally a couple more FACTS or pieces of evidence:

1. Pittsburgh was the FIRST team to ever win the superbowl when they had more turnovers than their opponents.

2. Ben Rothslisberger 22.9 QB rating was the lowest rating in the HISTORY of the SUPERBOWL for a team that WON the Superbowl.

Now....Add up all of the FACTS & EVIDENCE that I have presented here and it is easy to conclude that SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT.....

As you can See from the FACTS as laid out above -- the evidence is over-whleming that the officials DETERMINED the Outcome of the Superbowl. The only question is whether this was directed by the powers that run the NFL (I would surmise that it was)...>>
