How big is Dubai? Its skyline his huge. Its both an emirate (sort of like a state) and a city. The emirate probably has a population of about a 700k to a million? The city itself is not that large, but seems larger because traffic is horrendous. You can probably drive from side to side without traffic in 15 minutes or less. But the west side is just a desert undergoing massive development, so its growing larger every year. They are building the biggest mall in the world, the tallest building in the world and lots and lots and lots of property developments. My comments were due to the skyline I saw when I clicked on the golf course link you provided. Maybe the skyline was exaggerated in the view.......it looked like a city of several million. That's why I asked.
