One time in Seattle I was in a large que that circled around into another concourse. The que was filled with people waiting to check luggage, none of which had been inspected yet. All this time a woman orbited the area in obviously Islamic dress which was loose enough to conceal a sizable suicide belt AND NOBODY EVEN LOOKED AT HER. I think all this inspection merely drives the bad guys to more stealthy underground tactics. Also, it puts at risk airport concourses. They can't fly into buildings, but one incident and every airport in the country closes down indefinitely.
