Exactly. Why is the rightwing so willing to have a king? Are they closet royalists within our midst? What if the next king is Al Gore? Will they be screaming bloody murder? Is Congress this afraid of something and, if so, what is that something? There just seems to be a palpable fear all throughout the country that I've never felt before. Granted that 911 was a terrible shocking thing but so was WWII. Will we not stop feeling so afraid until we've caught OBL? Is that the problem or is it just the rightwing media feeding frenzy which threatens anyone who steps out of line. If so, when will say that it's enough when even cloth coat conservatives are aghast at the direction we're going.
