I see. Yes, that's so. But it's also so that the more money you make, the more you keep, which gives you discretionary funds to make even more money. The higher taxes slow you down some but you're still better off. Higher taxes can be high enough to create statis but countries have been there, done that, and now know enough to only bleed the taxpayer, not kill him. <g>
