More than likely the final blowoff was during the end of the very strong Nov-Jan period of strength in the overall market. Anyone ever hear of the market leader collapsing in that time period? Reality is staring the stock market in the face now and it's nice to be ahead of the curve. Every TA guru I follow says the homebuilders are toast... Looking at charts of several leading homebuilders like TOL, BZH,PHM, DHI, LEN and CTX just now I notice the much higher volume days on the downside during the late summer/early fall slide compared to the up move from the late October bottom into January. Let's see if the rest follow TOL and fail to hold support at the October bottom.
