Doesn't sound like someone who doesn't take the threat of terrorism seriously (not that Al Qaeda are even mentioned- we're just talking generically about terrorism here), that sounds like someone who would simply like to see legal means followed in this country when domestic spying is at issue, and someone who doesn't like being misled in to a stupid war (with, I might add, a country which had zero to do with Al Qaeda at the time, and no connection to 9/11). You are confused, but don't worry, you've got company. Lots of people seem to confuse a concern about the way we conduct ourselves, with the idea that people "aren't concerned about terrorism". Fact is, a reasonable person would probably be concerned about both.

Thanks for the misdirection, though. It's always nice to see someone throw in a juicy red herring. Yummy.
