Neolib, However, many Jews were offended by Mel's movie IIRC. Not violence, true, but there was significant politics regarding releasing it. In that case, the posturing was largely before the public release with people concerned about the film perhaps offending or inciting people to anti-semitic acts.

Not much anti-Semitism after that movie's release. The silence heard from the mainstream media was deafening.
