<<"Maybe Iran will have the bomb before it is over. We need to hope they do not.">>

You're right. It's like Mrs Rice said "We don't want the smoking gun to be a failed levee in New Orleans."

Well, she said something like that anyway.

Tell me why you think Iran should not have the bomb when so many other countries including Israel have the bomb. What assurances do they have that they will not be attacked by the nuclear powers. And in today's world, if a country does not have the bomb, they get no respect. You need only look at a poor country such as Pakistan which is also the hotbed of Islamic fundamentalism.

Lastly, Bush has branded that country as "an axis of evil" and they are jittery after Iraq. And the same is the case with N. Korea.

Rumsfeld Cites Corruption In Iraq as #1 problem, but same could be said for Bushie corruption in the US. cnn.com

Corruption breeds more corruption. When Iraqi leaders see Halliburton stealing billions with Cheney in charge,m they see that as a green light to steal themselves. 8.9 billion is now missing in Iraq and the Bushie GOP refuses to investigate.

And remember when they were pointing fingers at the UN and calling them corrupt for much smaller amounts of money?
