Socialist? Is that meant to be an insult? Like Canada where the government is more socialist, has more guns per capita than the US but has one tenth the crime, no NRA, no rightwing fanatic movement, no deficits, no quagmire war, no election fraud, no massive corruption in government, no racial divisions, cheap prescription drugs and manages to care for all its citizens with national health care and excellent education? What's wrong with socialism? And keep in mind the US is part socialist too. Also, all European countries are "socialist" and most of them more or less work just fine. Many have a much better standard of living than we do. Women and children especially are better cared for. So socialism is clearly not what the rightwing smear artists like you claim it to be. It is actually a capitalist democracy which cares for its people. Or are you talking about a military dictatorship which is actually a far rightwing form of government whether it calls itself communist or Nazi or whatever.
