We have the opposite problem

I would love to pay the kind of commissions you yanks do. I'd do a lot more trading. I had a Brown account until they found out I was a Canucky and cut me off. Major piss off. 5$ for 5000 shares with Brown compared to 29$ minimum for 1000 up here.

The most galling thing is that brokers like TD Waterhouse make their Canadian customers pay a lot more than their US for the same trade.

Grrrrr...

CD

I'd be careful... trading the ones on the OTTBB is NOT = to trading on the TSX. As far as I know the MM will sell them where he can take the offer on TSX and make money.

<There is a law in the US, that US citizens cannot have Canadian trading accounts or deal directly with Canadian brokers>

I think it's a matter of residency... Canadians that are US residents can't "open" in their accounts... only closeing.
