The uneducated are tomorrows road kill, no matter how you slice it. There is no path by which the "good old days" of the middle class uneducated laborer are going to return in my view. On the contrary, educated Americans are going to have to run hard, very hard, to keep up with educated people outside the US. The uneducated will be poor the world over. The educated will fight it out to see who comes out on top. On that score we are losing ground every day.
