I listened to the conference call this morning and really picked up nothing of value. While I saw no reasons why PMI should tank, I certainly did not see anything worthy of a 52 week high. Of significance for a trader is their BoD next week when they will discuss share buybacks. They bought a huge chunk (7%) during 2005 and if they announce same, it would be damn hard to fight the tide.

On the other hand, defaults and claims are still very low. Is this just a delay? Would they follow TOL's lead into the toilet bowl?

FNF will be the first title company to report tomorrow. They are big and should be a great indicator on the health of that sector.

NFI reporting Thurs. I like to hear comments on how to make big bucks under the flattened yield curve environment.
