The islamos might welcome armeggedon and that would differentiate themselves from the ruskys. I am thinking special forces and tactical nukes to behead their organizations before they get into the wmd delivery business. They may view a strategic nuke strike as a recruiting tool. If that cat gets out of the bag we may have to kill them all. The Cuban Missile Crisis brought us to the end of the nuke possiblity in the cold war. What does it take to get that red phone installed between us and our adversaries. What would be an equivalent event that could at least remove the sword of damocles hanging over our head? I dont see what it could be. During the cold war we had two enemies who didnt get along to well with each other--china and russia. We manipulated the situation to our own advantage. How do we do that with shiaa iran crazies and wasabis from al quaeda and SA? This is an important question. Maybe at some time post nuke crisis, McCain goes to Iran??? or Hillary goes to Bin Ladens cave.
