You are probably right on that one. I have not heard it expressed that way.

This "thing" with journalists, teachers, professors, and politicians, began when the Clintons were stumbling through the dictionary, and came across the word "consensus" (collective opinion). So they have decided that, if there are more people in their clique has the same opinion, than those that don't, that opinion is a fact. That way, they can claim that they are in the majority by polling those they know agree with them. Just think how many people there are that they don't know, and may well have different opinions. They are ignored.

I suspect the only solution now is for moderates and conservatives to put their money where their mouths are and buy stock in the few news organizations that do not spout liberal drivel. Once a sufficient majority is sustained, then shareholder proposals can be put forth requiring the company to audit media outlets for truth. With news organizations required to publish only true and verifiable facts, liberalism is dead.
