(And, if you are an Old Testament type... it is even sanctioned at a couple of places in the Good Book --- so long as, if you *purchase* slaves, they come only from *neighboring* tribes, not from your own... or if, for instance, you happen to want to SELL your daughter, that you only sell her into a distant tribe, and, or course, get a GOOD PRICE. After all, it's hardly worth it without the good price.)
