all the oil will be all be sold. the uncertainty is the price.
What you say is true. Companies that produce commodities always can sell what they produce straight into bankrupty if price fall below production cost.

Risk for Oil sands
1)Oil price risk
2) Project risk (delays,cost)
3) Environmental ,
4) availability of NG

I agree that this looks like a good business in the current environment going forward but it's by now means risk free.
