Presidents could do whatever they wanted. After seeing Nixon beginning to transform the White House into a Stalinist ministry, the country decided to put a check on Presidential power by enacting FISA. LIAR! Hoover was the one who wiretapped MLK. Hoover was an enemy of the Kennedys. RFK was a firm supporter of MLK. I Heard this lie from Sean Hannity on TV tonight. Outrageous. A pox on all your corrupt party and all your houses for spreading this egregious lie.
