Iraq had some semblance of infrastructure, but then W got his war and it mostly disappeared in the postwar looting. Stuff happens and all that.

It would take maybe 1 % of the resources being dumped into Iraq to stabilize Darfur. Just like it took maybe 1 % of what's being dumped into Iraq to stabilize Bosnia. But W had to have that war, at that time, and the faithful have to keep regurgitating ever propaganda line ever put out by W's minions about what a good thing W's war is, because that's the nature of faith or something.
