I got bored the other day and pulled up an IB chart just to enjoy the colors on my screen. In terms of flexibility, indicators, etc, it looked a little minimal relative to stockcharts. It ain't a Bloomberg, that's for sure. But the backfill came in quick and it seemed to update just fine.

Then again, I don't use charts in any serious fashion so I'm probably the wrong person to ask.

I wish IB had moved charting down the priority stack - already tons of great solutions for that - and given us better access to historical data (like TradeStation). My biggest headaches, by far, are farming and massaging data, actual crunching and testing is trivial in comparison.

DELL........Don't think I saw DELL break out of nuthin', Shack..gg....Kinda sad, actually, the way it was held back by that puny little DT line from the Dec high.

However, make a wish now...and it might be granted tomorrow morning ....when CISCO gaps up nicely at the open, and and the two SOX knitters....BRCM and MRVL ....start their moves (or better said, continue their moves)..Likely joy in TechLand manana....

Buona Notte ...
