DJ Osaka Bourse:Have System Delays Due To High Order Volume

Don't worry - they will blame it on BLUE screen of DEATH

TOKYO (Dow Jones)--The Osaka Securities Exchange said Wednesday there have been delays in its computer systems' processing of orders due to heavy orders for specific issues traded on its first and second sections.

The second-largest Japanese bourse has had similar problems over the past several months as growing popularity of Internet trading by individual investors has caused a surge in share trading volume.

DJ Speed Of Korea Won Appreciation A Concern - IMF Official

SEOUL (Dow Jones)--The International Monetary Fund isn't overly concerned about the Korean won's appreciation but at the speed of the rise, Oh Jong-Nam, IMF Executive Director, said in a speech Wednesday.

He said the won's appreciation itself will have to be accepted amid the country's economic recovery, but the speed of the rise is a concern "until we can accomodate it."

He also said that Korea's domestic demand has yet to recover fully, and that "we may not claim that the Korean economy is driven by a double engine."
