I guess the conclusion is neither of us know for sure (or much certainty at all) the view of the Saudi people toward their government.

With oil at $63 per barrel and the Saudi stock market up 100% last year, I will bet you most of the population prefers stability to overthrow of the government. Fat people don't riot.

However, they didn't riot when oil was at $25 per barrel. Either they think things are fine, or they are afraid to riot.
