Clapster~

I took a book out from the library called
"Reflections from Canoe Country: Paddling
the Waters of the Adirondacks and Canada".

Have you ever read it?

no, i haven't, but i just had a look at the description
and ordered it in from the library. i see that it has
at least some parts about canoeing in the Maritimes.
i haven't yet taken my canoe out east to Nova Scotia
or New Brunswick, so i'd be interested to see what
there might be about paddling there.

It made me think of you.
Have you ever considered trying to write
anything like this?

i've thought a bit about writing something about
canoeing in this region, but there are a couple
of other paddlers who have already written some
nice books, so the market might already be
somewhat saturated -- but perhaps not.
i may end up writing a book about hiking and
canoeing in this area -- from a naturalist's
point of view.
i have written a couple of articles for magazines
on hiking or canoeing on certain routes,
and have given a couple of workshops on
canoe tripping around here, but haven't seemed
to have time to get past writing a chapter or two
of a book.
however, i have a bit more time these days,
so it may happen yet!

I'd buy one...

if it ever happens that i finish a book
and get it in print... don't worry,
i'll be sending you a complimentary copy.
