<Doublespeak and you are full of it.> The US has been, for the past fifty years and more, a fountainhead of brilliant ideas, scientists, entrepreneurs and business people. If you are not aware of this extraordinary contribution of the US to the knowledge of mankind then the gap in your understanding of your own country is vast indeed. The issue is can we take it for granted that our exalted status in the world of ideas and business will simply continue of its own accord -- and the answer I am providing is this: No way. We will have to earn our keep, and those who do a better job than us at this game will prosper and exceed our own wealth generating and income earning prowess. Indeed, this has already begun to emerge as I and others have observed here.
